Releasing as a serial novel, the compelling love story will be broken into 6 short books releasing consecutively over a six-month period. The story follows a newlywed Amish couple in Lancaster County whose relationship faces insurmountable odds.
Book #2: The Silence of Winter
Meredith can’t wait to hear from Luke. . . .
Meredith Stoltzfus longs for the sound of her husband’s voice. She needs to know Luke has arrived safely in Indiana and hear his excitement about a new career opportunity. Most of all she needs reassurance of his love. Financial stress has taken its toll. Surely this new job will be the light at the end of the dark tunnel their young marriage seems to be trapped in. And maybe this call would be a good time to finally share her big news. . . .
But Luke’s call never comes. Instead, Meredith receives news that tears her heart to shreds and leaves her just barely living.
How will Meredith go on?

This is a unique six-part serial novel series. One book will release each month from February - July 2013. The books are shorter in length and end with a cliffhanger. Readers will discover the stunning conclusion to the overarching story at the end of book 6.

My Review:
I was surprised that I would enjoy reading a book in this format of  a six-part serial novel series. The story continues with other character being added to the story. I can't wait to read the next book in the series. Will Luke survive? Will Meredith find love with another? How will the two nurses lives change in the story. I would recommend this book to all that love to read good Amish Fiction. Again the author doesn't disappoint!

I received this book free from Barbour Publishing, Inc through NetGalley.com.
